At ATX Yoga, our goal is to support you in deepening your yoga practice and advancing your journey toward health and wellness. We've curated a selection of short videos that you can enjoy from the comfort of your home. Always listen to your body and feel free to modify the poses as needed. And remember, breathing is the foundation of yoga—so don't forget to focus on your breath!

Hatha Sun B Beginner Flow - 1

In this video, I will guide you through a simple Hatha Flow, emphasizing breath (pranayama) and movement (Asanas) as we connect with each pose using Ujjayi (Oceanic) breath. As you practice, consider how long you’d like to hold each posture; I suggest a minimum of five breaths, with each inhale and exhale lasting 3 to 5 seconds. This means you'll hold each pose for about 30 seconds to one minute.

Ujjayi Breathing

Guiding you through discovering your Ujjayi breath, also known as "Victorious Breath" or "Ocean Breath". This yogic breathing technique involves a gentle constriction at the back of the throat, producing a soft, audible sound during both inhalation and exhalation. This practice not only slows and smooths your breath but also calms the mind, enhances focus, and adds an internal "soundtrack" to your yoga sessions.

Vinyasa Sun C Beginner - 1

This video is a Beginner Sun Salutation C flow sequence performed after you've set your intention for practice and taken some time to loosen your spine (with Sun Salutation A) and opened up your hips (with Sun Salutation B). As you practice this flow, and remember the sequence, repeat it on your own 3-5 times synching your breath to each asana or pose.

I hope you enjoy it!

Ashtanga Series Part 1 - Sun A

This is the first part of the Ashtanga Yoga primary series, featuring Sun Salutation A, which is practiced five times, with one breath for each pose. Please make sure to complete this sequence before starting your Ashtanga Yoga practice. Enjoy!

Ashtanga Series Part 2 - Sun B

As part of the Ashtanga primary sequence, this Sun Salutation B is practiced at a slower pace holding each pose for multiple breathes. Complete this sequence twice and be sure to complete Sun Salutation A before moving on to this sequence. Enjoy!

Supine Twist Variations Part 1

In this video, I guide you through different variations of the supine twist. It's a fantastic way to begin your yoga practice, or you can incorporate it at end to help stretch your body. This series consists of two parts, as there are several variations of the supine twist.

Supine Twist Variations Part 2

This is part 2 of our series on supine twist variations, focusing on twists with crossed legs. These variation can enhance your body's extension, but it's important to approach them with care. Always listen to your body and adjust or modify as needed.

Vinyasa Flow Sun B - Beginner
